The Blue Hour produces hand-made, small batch artisan gin taking wild fruit and transforming it into something exquisite and unique.
Bullaces are a very old fruit with a flavour quite distinct from that of damsons and sloes. We use a top quality 37.5% London Dry Gin as a base adding wild bullaces and sugar and then maturing it for a minimum of 3 months before bottling. The result is a beautiful red gin with the flavours of almonds, cherries and plums.
